This series of titles is designed to stimulate student thinking via a role playing simulation very much like the popular TV hypotheticals. First a problem or situation requiring a decision is presented to the class in a variety of ways including video . In teams or as a whole class an option is chosen - students can vote on screen and have the program tally the votes (just like a referendum) . Each option brings consequences and a further required choice from a number of alternatives. In this way student thinking about a topic is stimulated and guided. There are over 300 possible decision paths in each title so a class can benefit from going through the simulation more than once. Students are encouraged to gather and analyse information. Each title comes with extensive student resources. Recommended.
